Sagewell’s Retirement Protection Plan Subscription Payment Authorization

Sagewell Financial, Inc. (“Sagewell,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) offers Sagewell’s Retirement Protection Plan for a monthly fee (“Monthly Fee”).

The current amount of the Monthly Fee is $20. The amount of the Monthly Fee is subject to change in our sole discretion. If the Monthly Fee changes, you have the right to receive, and we will send you, written notice of the amount and date of the transfer at least 10 days before the scheduled date of transfer. We may offer free trial periods subject to certain terms and conditions.

You authorize us to electronically debit the Monthly Fee from your Sagewell checking account (your “Account”) (and, if necessary, electronically credit your Account to correct erroneous debits) either by ACH or by charging your Sagewell debit card as follows:

  • Amount of Debits: $20
  • Frequency of Debits: On the 1st business day of each month, or any time

We will generally attempt to debit your Account on the 1st business day of each month. However, we will not attempt to debit your Account when your balance is beneath a certain threshold (e.g., $50) or when your account, at our discretion, appears to have insufficient funds that might cause you to incur an overdraft fee. If our ability to debit your Account is impacted due to one of these preceding factors, we will wait to submit the debit until either (a) we have reason to believe there are sufficient funds in your Account or (b) your Account balance is above our threshold value. We are not liable for any overdrafts. You are responsible for ensuring that the balance in your Sagewell checking account can accommodate the Monthly Fee.

You may stop payment of these preauthorized electronic debits from your Sagewell checking account by emailing us at help@sagewellfinancial.com at least 3 Business Days before the scheduled date of the debit. If you stop these preauthorized electronic debits, we will no longer provide you our Retirement Protection Plan. If we do not receive notice at least 3 Business Days before the scheduled debit date, we may attempt, in our sole discretion, to cancel the debit transaction. However, we assume no responsibility for our failure to do so. Please note that revoking this authorization will not apply to electronic debits performed before revocation becomes effective.

For purposes of this authorization, “Business Day” means Monday through Friday, excluding federal banking holidays.
