“If you’re having issues with your Social Security payments, you might need to contact the Social Security Administration for help. You may be able to troubleshoot some problems online, but other issues might require a phone call or in-person visit to a Social Security office,” begins the article.

“The general recommendation is to use the online portal for standard actions such as switching your direct deposit,” said Zimmerman, CEO of Sagewell Financial in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
